VerbaGPT is a data analysis tool. We do not sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
When you use the service, we store your queries and responses, any files you upload, and — if you connect an external database — the connection details you provide.
We log standard usage data such as login timestamps and IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
What We Don't Collect
- Payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe
- We do not use your data to train AI models
- We do not sell your data
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to run your queries, maintain your history, process payments, and send transactional emails such as password resets. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
AI Query Processing
When you submit a query, its content is sent to third-party AI model providers to generate a response. We recommend not including sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or passwords) in your queries.
Third-Party Services
We use reputable third-party providers for hosting, payments, email, and AI inference. These providers access only the data necessary for their function. Payments are processed by Stripe. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic.
Data Retention
- Free plan: Query history deleted after 14 days
- Paid plans: Query history retained until you delete it or close your account
- Uploaded files: Retained until you delete them or close your account
- Account data: Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The VerbaGPT application uses only essential cookies for authentication. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics, which sets a cookie to measure traffic. You can opt out via your browser's privacy settings.
Security
We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.
Children
VerbaGPT is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
